By placing an order with HP Race Development, you agree to the following return, cancellation, and restocking conditions.

Order Cancellations & Restocking Fee

All orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee, including orders canceled before shipment.

  • Orders begin processing immediately after placement.

  • Cancellations are not guaranteed and may be refused once processing has begun.

  • If a cancellation is approved, a 20% restocking/processing fee will be deducted from the refund.

  • Processing, transaction, and administrative costs are non-refundable.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your item.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be new, unused, and uninstalled

  • Must be in original packaging with all accessories, inserts, manuals, and tags

  • No signs of use, installation, fuel exposure, wear, tuning, electrical connection, or modification

  • Condition is determined solely at our discretion after inspection

⚠️ Any item showing signs of use, installation, or alteration will be refused and returned to the customer at their expense.

Restocking Fee on Returns

All approved returns are subject to a mandatory 20% restocking fee, deducted from the refund amount.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error

  • Restocking fee applies even if the item was never opened

Items sent without authorization will not be accepted.

Damages, Defects & Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the item and packaging

  • Description of the issue

Failure to report issues within this window may void eligibility for replacement or return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and non-returnable:

  • Custom, special-order, or made-to-order products

  • ECU-related products once powered on, flashed, installed, or connected

  • Electrical components once opened or installed

  • Clearance or sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Hazardous materials or chemicals

If you are unsure whether an item is returnable, contact us before ordering.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

To obtain a different item:

  1. Submit a return request (subject to approval and restocking fee)

  2. Place a new order separately

European Union (EU) Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer law.

Conditions still apply:

  • Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging

  • 20% restocking fee still applies

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping

  • Custom and made-to-order items are excluded where permitted by law

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days, minus restocking and shipping fees

Banks and credit card processors may take additional time to post the refund.
